Hi! This is my first blog entry and I am really excited to share with the world about my life and experiences in love, family, friends and BEAUTY as well.
I am an Aesthetic Nurse for Arambulo's Skin Clinic And a Hair Transplant Nurse for Asian Hair Restoration Center. I import and retail beauty products and supplies as well. (Empress MT Enterprises)
My mom is a dermatologist and i am very lucky to learn at an early age how to protect the skin.
I think I started putting anti aging creams such as retinol and AHA at the age of 13! (7th grade) As my mom would always say, the earlier the better. My mom looks great for her age! (51) She started putting creams and avoiding the bad sun (12nn-3pm) since age 23.
My younger sister, my mom and me in NY 2009
( Girls? If you want to look as great as my mom
at the age of 51?? Start applying and protecting!)
What inspired me to blog is that i realized that not all women out there know how to take care of their skin and are not aware on how harmful the sun can be. Gosh..all those wrinkles and sun spots! Yes without SPF everyday...you can age everyday. Even if you are just driving or walking out the road. People would usually think that they should only wear sunblock when they go out to the beach.
One mistake that i do regret is when i would always get a tan on the beach. I can remember those days laying out in the sun, burning my skin so that i can get that gorgeous tan everyone would die for. So wrong! Right now, at the age of 25,i can see my tiny sun spots popping out! i have like 7 tiny spots. It all came out after a year. I will upload a pic of my spots in awhile...
My mom would always say..."I told you so. Tigas ng ulo mo." =p
